For over 50 years in senior living, we remain family managed and 100% family owned. Country Meadows was founded by my parents, former Pennsylvania Governor (1955-59) and Mrs. George M. Leader.
My father always emphasized the importance of developing lasting relationships with our customers and providing them with value “heaped up and running over.” I feel the same way, inspiring our vision: to be the connection between care and purpose to make lives better.
We feel so strongly about putting our residents and co-workers first that we adopted the following Mission Statement: Our mission is to serve residents with meaning, offer our co-workers purpose and lead our company with innovation.
These six Foundation Principles help guide all our co-workers in operating Country Meadows:

Meredith Mills, granddaughter of co-founders, the late Gov. Leader and Mary Jane Leader, and mother of two, leads the company as President and CEO with great listening skills, empathy and compassion for our residents and co-workers.
